Introducing the Certified Refurbished Drive Reach
At a glance
Where the Drive Reach Works Best
If any of these look familiar, this is the booster to start with.
Highway Drives
Fewer of your calls drop, wherever you are driving.
Rural Routes
Texting and calling come back on the stretches where they used to quit.
Cabins & Camps
Some customers run it at a cabin or a hunting camp, on 12 volt power or an AC adapter they add.
How It Works
Each of the three pieces below does a different job, and where you put it decides how well the next one works.
The Outside AntennaReceives signal from distant cell towers and passes it over a cable to the amplifier.
The AmplifierReceives the signal from the outside antenna, boosts it significantly, then passes it to the inside antenna.
The Inside AntennaBroadcasts the boosted signal throughout the space for clear calls, reliable texts, and fast data.
The booster also works in reverse. The inside antenna receives signal from the devices in the vehicle, the amp boosts it up, and then the outside antenna broadcasts the strong signal back to the distant cell towers. This gives you a strong, reliable two-way connection to the cell tower.
How Much Coverage Should You Expect?
How much coverage you get depends on the signal you already have outside. The stronger it is out there, the farther the boosted signal carries inside.

How the Installation Process Works
Most installs take just a few minutes, and the steps below are the whole job.
Set the Outside Antenna Near the Center of the Roof
Keep it at least 12 inches away from any other antenna and from any window, and a sunroof counts as one. If your roof is aluminum and the magnet will not hold, the included adhesive disc goes down first. Do a loose setup before you settle on a spot, with the cable draped in through an open door so you can see what your bars do first.
Run the Cable Under the Door Seal
The coax tucks under the door seal and runs from there to the amplifier, and it is built to survive being shut in.
Secure the Amplifier Behind or Under a Seat
Put it somewhere you can still get to it, with air moving around it, and let the included Velcro strips hold it down to the carpet. Take the outside antenna off before a car wash.
Set the Inside Antenna Where Your Phone Rides
It goes on the dash or beside the seat, near where you actually use your phone rather than right up against it. A Velcro strip holds it there, and it has to stay at least 8 inches from any person.
Plug It Into the 12 Volt Outlet
Connect the power cord to the amplifier first, then put the adapter in the outlet and push its switch on. A green light on the amplifier means everything is working. If that outlet stays live with the engine off, turn the booster back off when you park for more than a day.

Which Booster Fits Your Vehicle?
What changes from one booster to the next is the vehicle it is built for, how the outside antenna mounts, and which one you get.
