Introducing the Work Truck
At a glance
What the Work Truck Is For
If any of these look familiar, this is the booster to start with.
Job Sites
The truck sits in one spot all day, and every phone and hotspot inside it gets the same boosted signal.
Utility and Line Work
The gear up top is already crowded, so the mount goes on the rack itself rather than needing a spot of its own.
Service Calls
Dispatch, the map, and the next work order all come through on the road between stops.
How It Works
Each of the three pieces below does a different job, and where you put it decides how well the next one works.
The Outside AntennaReceives signal from distant cell towers and passes it over a cable to the amplifier.
The AmplifierReceives the signal from the outside antenna, boosts it significantly, then passes it to the inside antenna.
The Inside AntennaBroadcasts the boosted signal throughout the space for clear calls, reliable texts, and fast data.
The booster also works in reverse. The inside antenna receives signal from the devices in the vehicle, the amp boosts it up, and then the outside antenna broadcasts the strong signal back to the distant cell towers. This gives you a strong, reliable two-way connection to the cell tower.
How Much Coverage Should You Expect?
How much coverage you get depends on the signal you already have outside. The stronger it is out there, the farther the boosted signal carries inside.

How the Installation Process Works
The steps below are the whole job, from the antenna on top to the power at the end.
Build the Antenna to the Height You Need
The 4 inch mast, the 13 inch mast and the spring stack in different combinations, and the antenna ends up somewhere between about 15 and 35 inches. Pick the combination that puts it above your rack and whatever is riding on it. The thread locker goes on metal only, never on the plastic antenna body.
Mount the Bracket Where the Truck Has Room
It goes on a T-track rack, on a roof rail or a ladder between 1.0 and 1.25 inches across, or flat against a toolbox lid. Tighten the dial all the way down and check it again after your first week out. When you fold the antenna over for a low clearance, the stabilizer arm and a zip tie can hold it there.
Run the Cable In Under the Door Seal
Lift the door seal, tuck the cable underneath, and follow the threshold trim in to the amplifier. Keep the whole run away from every airbag, and check your owner's manual if you are not sure where those are.
Set the Inside Antenna Where Your Phone Rides
It goes on the dash or the side of the seat, on the Velcro strip in the box, and it needs to sit between 18 and 36 inches from your phone. Keep it at least 8 inches from any person and clear of the airbag zones.
Tuck the Amplifier Somewhere with Airflow
Behind or under a seat is the usual spot, held on with the Velcro strips, screws or zip ties in the box. Match each cable to the port marked for it. Then pick your power, the 12 volt plug for a quick setup or the hardwire supply for a permanent one.

Which Booster Fits Your Vehicle?
What changes from one booster to the next is the vehicle it is built for, how the outside antenna mounts, and which one you get.
