Product Overview

The weBoost Destination RV Signal Booster Kit (Model: 470159) is the ultimate solution for RV enthusiasts looking to boost their cellular signal in remote locations. Designed specifically for use in large, stationary RVs, trailers, toy haulers, and campers, this powerful device ensures you stay connected with fewer dropped calls, better voice quality, uninterrupted texts, faster data speeds, and enhanced streaming and hotspot capabilities.

Key Features:

  • Powerful Signal Boost: With a 65 dB max gain, the Destination RV targets nearby cell towers in remote locations to significantly improve signal strength for all cellular devices on every network and carrier in North America, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and UScellular.
  • Easy Installation: Initial setup takes approximately 30 minutes with no professional help required, and subsequent takedown and setup are even quicker, about 10 minutes, making it ideal for RVers on the move.
  • Versatile Coverage: Designed to cover large RVs fully, the system includes a high-gain yagi outside antenna, a 24 ft telescoping pole for elevated placement, and a panel inside antenna to maximize the coverage of the boosted signal within your RV.
  • Multiple Device Support: The inside antenna broadcasts the boosted signal into the RV, so several phones and data devices can use it at the same time.
  • Safety and Compliance: Meets all FCC guidelines, ensuring it doesn’t interrupt or harm any carriers' signal to or from the cell tower.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does it work with my carrier?

Yes. It boosts every major US carrier at the same time, and it covers 5G along with 4G LTE.

Will it work where I have no signal at all?

No. A booster amplifies signal that is already outside the RV, so it needs at least a faint one to work with. Where your phone shows no service at all, there is nothing for it to amplify.

Is this a Wi-Fi booster?

No. It boosts the cellular signal your phone uses for calls, texts, and mobile data. It does nothing for Wi-Fi or for a campground's internet.

Will it boost my hotspot or my cellular router?

Yes. A hotspot and a cellular router both run on the same networks your phone does, so they get the same boost. Keep them near the inside antenna the way you would a phone.

Can I use it while I am driving?

No. This one is for use only while you are parked. The pole has to come down before the RV moves, and weBoost certifies the booster for use in a fixed location.

How long does setup take?

About 30 minutes the first time, then about 10 for each setup after that. Most of it is raising the pole, sticking the wall mounts on, and aiming the antenna.

Do I have to aim the antenna myself?

Yes. It is a directional antenna, which is what lets it work with a weaker signal, and the trade is that it only listens in the direction you point it. An app like Opensignal shows you where the nearest tower is.

Do I need my carrier's permission?

No. The major US carriers have given blanket consent for boosters that meet current FCC standards, and this one does. You do have to register it with your carrier, which is a short form on their website.

Does it work outside the US?

It covers the United States and Canada. Most European, Asian, and African networks run on different frequencies, so it will not help you there.

How do I know it is working?

A solid green light means it is running properly. Solid red means the two antennas are too close together, so move them farther apart. Solid yellow means a nearby tower is overloading it, so rotate the outside antenna away a quarter turn at a time until the light goes green.
