The 3300 is wideband instead, so it boosts the whole supported range at once and lets the network and your phones sort out what to use. When a phone combines several channels at once for faster data, the 3300 strengthens that combined LTE signal so compatible phones can actually take advantage of it. Coverage Area & Supported Carriers

How much area you cover inside depends on the outside signal strength at the spot where the outside antenna gets mounted. A stronger signal at the antenna gives the amplifier more to work with, so the same equipment covers considerably more area on a strong signal than it does on a weak one.
