The weBoost 470410 Drive 4G-X RV Signal Booster Kit is a great solution for people who regularly travel in RVs, Motorhomes, 5th-Wheels, and other large vehicles, and need better voice calls and data while in remote locations. The Drive 4G-X RV Kit features the weBoost Drive 4G-X 5-band, 50 dB amplifier, which is one of the most powerful mobile amplifiers allowed by the FCC, a short, non-spring mount omnidirectional outside antenna, and a desktop internal antenna to maximize the internal coverage area. In addition, the kit includes both AC and DC hardwire power supplies, cable mounts for cleaner cable runs, and a cable entry cover. The Drive 4G-X RV Kit boosts the 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks for all of the major carriers in North America, giving you fewer dropped calls, increased reception, and the fastest 3G & 4G LTE download speeds possible. Unlike some other mobile signal boosters, the weBoost Drive 4G-X RV communicates with your phone wirelessly, rather than requiring a direct connection or for your phone to sit in a cradle. The inside coverage area that you receive from the weBoost 470410 Drive 4G-X RV Signal Booster Kit will depend on the existing outside signal strength in the location where you're traveling or parked. In areas where you get a moderate existing outside signal, the Drive 4G-X RV kit will provide a boosted signal up to 6 ft from the inside antenna. As the outside signal gets weaker, the coverage area will shrink, until the point where you may have to keep your phone within about 18 inches from the inside antenna to take advantage of the boosted signal. The ideal way to talk on the phone while moving around the vehicle would be to keep your phone near the inside antenna and use a bluetooth headset for mobility. To start, mount the omni outside antenna on the exterior of the vehicle (typically at the back) and ensure that the antenna extends above the vehicle for a clear, 360 degree view. Run the included black 20 ft cable into the vehicle and connect the cable to the amplifier's Outside Antenna port.
