Introducing the Home MultiRoom
Your house has rooms the signal never reaches. The porch gets full bars, the couch gets one, and in the back room texts sit unsent and calls just end. The Home MultiRoom is the system we point people to for exactly those rooms.
Walls, roofing, coated windows, and distance from the tower are what kill the signal indoors. The MultiRoom takes what your house already gets outside, amplifies it, and broadcasts steady coverage inside through its panel antenna. The box has everything to make that happen, you install it in an hour or two with basic tools, and you own it outright.
It puts working bars on every phone, on every US carrier at once. Calls, texts, and data all ride the same boosted signal, so the Verizon phones, the AT&T phones, and the T-Mobile tablet all get the boost together. Nothing touches your wifi, and there is nothing to set up on anyone's phone.
Most houses need two to four rooms fixed, not a warehouse solution, and that is exactly what the MultiRoom does best. It is our bestselling home booster for that reason. The coverage table below turns your outside signal into your real number.

How Much Coverage Should You Expect?
The existing outside signal strength and the amplifying power of the booster together determine how much coverage you'll get.
Strong signal outside5 bars, -80 dBm or better
5,000 sq ft
Moderate signal outside3 to 4 bars, about -90 dBm
3,500 sq ft
Weak signal outside1 to 2 bars, about -100 dBm
1,000 sq ft
No signal outside? A booster needs a small amount of signal to amplify, so if you truly do not have anything outside, a booster won't solve your problem.
Need more coverage than this?
You can either install multiple boosters or move up to a more powerful system. Here are our recommendations for stronger boosters:
The booster receives the existing cell signal from nearby towers, amplifies it, and broadcasts it inside your house. It also works in reverse, boosting the signal from your phones back to the tower, so calls hold up in both directions.
1
The Outside Antennacommunicates back and forth with nearby cell towers.
2
The Amplifierboosts any cell signal it receives from the outside antenna.
3
The Inside Antennabroadcasts the boosted signal throughout your space.

How the Installation Process Works
While installations can vary widely based on the construction of your home, most only take a couple of hours to complete.
1
Find the Best Source of Existing Signal
Walk around the outside of the house reading your bars. Your goal is to find the side with the strongest signal. This is where the outside antenna is mounted and points from.
2
Mount the Outside Antenna
Mount the antenna on the roof, or as high up as possible, using a pole mount, an existing pole, or a vent pipe. Aim it away from the house (not across the roof).
3
Run the Cable
Attach the antenna cable and run it into the house, typically the attic. You may need to drill a hole or use the flat antenna cable (included with some boosters).
4
Mount the Amplifier
Locate the amplifier inside, near where the outside antenna cable enters the house. It needs to be near an outlet to receive power.
5
Run the Cable & Mount the Inside Antenna
Run the inside antenna cable to the location where you plan to locate the inside antenna.
If you're in the attic, you can lay the panel antenna face down and it will broadcast through the floors below, otherwise you can locate it on the wall or using the kickstand to broadcast signal across the space.
6
Aim the Outside Antenna
With everything connected and powered on, you want to fine tune the aim of the outside antenna. Have someone stand by the inside antenna with a phone reading bars or decibels, and have someone outside rotate the roof antenna 45 degrees at a time, and lock it in place when the inside person gets the best signal.
No roof access? The outside antenna can mount to a fascia board or vertical post. Your goal is to get it up as high as possible to receive the best signal and prevent oscillation (feedback) in the system.
Which Home Booster Is Right for You?
Same three part system at every size. What changes is amplifier strength and how many rooms it reaches.
The best way to know if it fixes your house is to install it and watch what happens to your bars. If you're not happy with the performance, return it for a full refund.
2-Year Warranty
The equipment is protected by weBoost's hardware warranty, so you don't have to worry about the amplifier going out on you or one of the antennas failing.

The FCC requires the advisory below on every consumer signal booster, including this one.
This is a CONSUMER device. BEFORE USE, you MUST REGISTER THIS DEVICE with your wireless provider and have your provider's consent. Most wireless providers consent to the use of signal boosters. Some providers may not consent to the use of this device on their network. If you are unsure, contact your provider. You MUST operate this device with approved antennas and cables as specified by the manufacturer. Antennas MUST be installed at least 20 cm (8 inches) from any person. You MUST cease operating this device immediately if requested by the FCC or a licensed wireless service provider. WARNING. E911 location information may not be provided or may be inaccurate for calls served by using this device.
Please note, the three largest carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) and more than 90 regional carriers have given blanket consent for use of all boosters certified to the current FCC standards. Registration itself is a quick form on your carrier's website, not a permission request, so for nearly every buyer approval is already in place.

Let's talk about the other options you have for solving your signal problem.
The Cheap Box on Amazon
These are entry-level devices meant for small spaces and typically struggle to provide boosted signal past a single room.

If you only need better signal in a small space, then an entry-level booster can work, (and we sell those too), but if the whole house needs coverage, then a reliable solution from well known brand is your best bet.
You also get us: real people who help you pick the right system, walk you through the installation, help you troubleshoot, and answer the phone after you buy.
Wi-Fi Calling
A temporary fix, not a long-term solution. Every phone has to be configured and connected to your wifi for it to work.

It's not great for visitors, who have to set it up on their phone and connect to your wifi network, and it only works as well as your connection. Plus you typically have handoff problems entering and leaving the home.
Waiting on Your Carrier
Carriers fix towers, not houses, which is why they recommend signal boosters to solve the problem of getting signal into your home.

They would much rather you install a signal booster than switching your family to a different carrier, which may have the same problem.

Mounted to my living room ceiling last week. It's been working great!
We just got it up today it’s been wayyyy hot here to do much and it’s was easy to install.Todd over the phone was really easy to communicate with and helpful!!! It works great!!! Thank You Weboost!!!
I called Wilson after my friend (communications engineer in hospitals) recommended them to resolve extremely poor cell service in our house. I had a 1 bar house and in one spot, it was a total dead zone. You step in it, you die. Todd answered all of my questions and set my expectations. I was getting 2 bars around the outside of the house, so he told me I could see 2 maybe 3 bars inside. I received my package and had it installed and running in just little over an hour. I already had an TV antenna mast up and it had just enough room on it to fit the outside antenna. I installed the inside antenna just outside of my Data Closet (I know people don't have data closets in their house unless they're nerds that spent 20 years working in data centers :-), which points to the main area in the house that I needed boosting. My results are great! My phone sees anywhere from 2 to 3 bars depending on if I'm behind or in front of the antenna. I actually an occasional 4 bar, but it's rare. Before the booster, my Hotspot was nonexistent. I now have a fully functional hotspot that I could even run Speedtest.net on. This was a great investment in my sanity and erasing years cell service hell!
The booster has increased my phone receiver bars from 1-2 to 3-4 in most areas of my house which is a big improvement. I can dial and answer calls now but it still occasionally drops calls and the conversations are delayed. I don’t think it’s totally the booster’s fault, I live in an area that is very difficult for receiving cell signals.
Bars on my android phone went from 1-2 to 4-5 with excellent reception. This is an upgrade from an older Wilson 4g booster which could only produce a steady 2 bars.
After FedEx lost our first package, Wilson made it right and sent a replacement, kudos to them!!!!. Customer Service is amazing and anything i would need in the future, I'll be buying from them for sure. I have the antenna about 40' up a tree in a holler that has no service other than texts that float through here and there. Now we can call family from in the house!. Would recommend to anyone looking for better service.
I wish I would’ve known about the weBoost before we switched to a more expensive cell plan in the hope of getting better cell reception. With the weBoost we could have stayed with the cheaper plan and saved a lot of money. WeBoost is amazing
I have an apartment in rural area, built in a building with a metal roof and 12" thick cement walls. Cell phone signal is sketchy outside and non-existant inside. After installing a WeBoost Home MultiRoom Signal Booster antenna about 8' above the metal roof, and the inside antenna on anend wall I was able to get 4 bars of signal throughout the entire 2 bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, and bathroom areas.
Previously I installed a mobile WeBoost in my camper van and that too pulls in signal where others can't get good cell reception. Most of the spots I camp I can now make and receive calls as well as use mobile internet signal.
We are pleased with the technology and simplicity of operation!
Frankly, I was skeptical it would work for my specific situation, but was desperate for a solution. I installed the system and went from no signal to 3 bars in my basement.
Everything about it is good except it's not strong enough. And by that I mean you have to be practically within about 5' of the inside antenna to get three bars. A few feet further drops you to two and you can't get more than about 15' away and it drops to 1. Our signal is week at a remote off grid cabin. but it's not the magnification that's the problem. Its how large of an area it enhances in the house. It says this will cover a 1,200 sq ft house and our little cabin is only 20x24 with a 12x20 loft. It's literally hard to get the necessary distance they want from the outside antenna to the inside booster. But I regret not spending the extra money for a stronger in house booster. It obviously enhances the week signal plenty, it just doesn't disperse it far enough once it does.
Installed the WeBoost 470144 in our seasonal home in a heavily wooded area. The results were immediate. Went from a spotty signal to to a strong signal immediately. Would definitely recommend the WeBoost 470144 and give it 5 stars.
We use these at a gas and electric utility in Southern Indiana were cell phone reception is spotty at best in the rural areas we serve. They have made a big difference in the ability to call into our control center. I would definitely recommend this booster.
What a great purchase! We have a large shop on our property where we spend a lot of time but we get zero cell service there so it feels like we are cut off from all communication while there. After installing the signal booster, our phones work just as well as they would if we were in an area that had great cell coverage. The signal booster was worth every penny we paid for it.
Installed booster in living room. Cell phone went from no signal/one bar to full signal / 5 bars
Thank you for recommending the booster, it works great.
This unit brought my 0-1 bar home to a 3-4 bar home! No more dropped calls so far. As far as it being a Multiroom unit, well, if you have the antenna in the room you spend most your time in it works better.
Just installed unit pretty simple set up and before unit was installed my signal strength was very low -129 after unit was installed signal boosted up to -88 I had a very hard time getting calls or dropping calls I've only had it up and running for a day but so far my first call I received was crystal clear
I bought my first set up less than a year ago and the booster itself already went out. Worse, I had to buy a whole kit to get another booster. I only bought another because I am disabled and the antena and cables are already installed, if this booster also goes out in less than a year I will be changing it all out with a better system. Paying $570 for something that barely last a year is poor quality
We could barely get one bar on our phones and calls got dropped on a regular basis while we were in the house unless we stood at a certain spot in the house. Since installing the booster, our signal is now at two bars and we can surf the net and watch videos on 4G. Previously, we could only surf the net with internet service. We are a few miles from the nearest phone tower. We haven't optimized our antenna direction yet, so it may get better.
I ordered 1 and got 2. Called in and sent the 2nd one back to you. I completed the install of this unit for a friend, who asked me to obtain this unit for her. Installation went well and my cell phone was boosted from 0 bars/no service to two bars. I hope to further optimize the direction of the outside antenna to improve the intensity of the signal once I finalize location of Verizon Cell tower (my phone is ATT).
Replaced an older Wilson booster that only worked on the 3g network with the new one that works on the 5g network and it was easy to just plug and play. Works great!
It is working as expected. I have it in a metal building. Before the booster I would have the leave the building to make calls. Not any more!! Works great.
How much of my house will it really cover? Is 5,000 sq ft realistic for me?
The 5,000 square foot number is the best case, reached only with a strong five-bar signal outside, so for most homes the honest figure is lower. At three to four bars, around -90 dBm, plan on up to 3,500 square feet, and at one to two bars up to 1,000. Coverage tracks your outside signal because the booster amplifies what is already there rather than creating it. If your home is large or your reception is weak throughout, the Home Complete fits better and reaches up to 7,500 square feet with a strong outside signal. The only way to know your own number is a soft install, setting it in place to test before you mount it for good.
Will it work if I have only 1 bar (or seemingly no bars) outside?
One bar outside is enough to work with, because a booster amplifies the signal you already have rather than creating it from nothing. At one bar you get up to 1,000 square feet of coverage, enough to reach the rooms nearest the inside antenna. It won't cover the whole house, but if you strategically place the inside antenna, it covers the areas where you need better signal the most. The seemingly no bars case is trickier. If you can find even one bar somewhere outside, that's something we can boost. If there's truly no signal outside, the booster has nothing to amplify, and we'll tell you that straight rather than sell you something that won't work.
Will it boost my cellular data and home internet, or just phone calls?
It boosts your data, not just calls, because everything it amplifies rides on the same cellular signal. That means your phone's data, a hotspot, and a cellular home-internet modem along with the devices connected to it all get the stronger signal, the same way your calls do. What it can't touch is wired internet like cable or DSL, and it won't extend your Wi-Fi, since it works on cellular signal alone. Like any booster, it needs a bar or two of signal outside to amplify, because it strengthens what's already there rather than creating it from nothing.
Does it boost every carrier and all our phones at once, or do I need one per carrier?
One unit covers everyone in the house at once, so you never need one per carrier. It boosts every major US carrier at the same time, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular and the rest, for every phone and device in range of the inside antenna, with nothing to pair, no SIM, no programming, no account changes. The one limitation is the 600 MHz band, the frequency T-Mobile leans on for a lot of rural coverage, since it is not FCC-approved for consumer boosting and only commercial systems can reach it with carrier approval. So if you are on T-Mobile out in the country, send us a message and we will check your signal before you buy.
Can I install it myself, or do I need a professional?
You can do it yourself, and most people do, because it's built for anyone reasonably handy and takes about one to two hours. You mount the outside antenna up high aimed at your strongest signal, run the included cable to the amplifier, and set the inside panel antenna near the rooms you want covered. The mounting hardware is in the box, and you'll drill a few holes for the outside antenna. Do a soft install first, setting things in place without drilling, to test before you commit. There's no professional install option for this model, though if you want the work done for you, the Home Complete Installed includes professional installation. Our support team has also walked thousands of folks through this install, so send us a message if you get stuck.
Where does the outside antenna go, how far from the inside antenna, and which way do I point it?
Put the outside antenna as high as you can, on a roof, eave, or pole, pointed toward your nearest tower where the signal is strongest. The inside panel antenna goes central to the rooms you want covered, and you want as much distance between the two as you can get, both up and down and side to side. Set them too close and they interfere with each other, so the amplifier turns its power down or shuts off to protect itself, which shows up as the status light changing color. Do a soft install first, just set everything in place without drilling, so you can aim it and watch the light settle to solid green before you mount anything for good.
Will it work on a home with a metal roof, metal siding, or a mobile home?
All three work, because the outside antenna mounts on top of the metal rather than under it, where it receives the signal instead of fighting through it. The honest part is that metal also blocks signal indoors, so coverage inside this kind of home runs a little tighter than in a comparable wood-frame house. Mount the outside antenna up high above the metal aimed at your strongest signal, center the inside antenna on the rooms you use most, and you still want at least a bar or two to amplify. A soft install lets you set it in place and confirm your coverage before you ever drill.
Do these signal boosters work, and are they worth the money?
Yes, as long as you have some signal outside to start with, because a booster amplifies what's already there rather than creating it from nothing. The outside antenna receives the signal from the nearest tower, the amplifier boosts it, and the inside antenna broadcasts it through your home, stronger. With a strong outside signal you get up to 5,000 square feet of coverage, less as that drops. The one place it can't help is a home with no outside signal at all, since there's nothing to receive. As for worth, you pay once with no monthly fees, backed by a 90-day return window and lifetime US-based support, so if it doesn't pull its weight you send it back.
Is there a monthly fee, subscription, or contract, or do I just pay once?
You pay once and that's the whole cost, no subscription, no contract, no monthly fee. There's no SIM card to buy, no data plan to add, and nothing changes with your carrier account. It plugs into a standard wall outlet and works on its own, so you don't need Wi-Fi or internet for it to run. If it turns out not to be right for your home, the 90-day return window has you covered, so the one payment is the only commitment you're making.
