Signal Booster vs. Distributed Antenna System (DAS)
You may have heard about distributed antenna systems (DAS) and want to know how they compare to a signal booster solution. Here's our breakdown.
| Cell Phone Signal Booster | Distributed Antenna System (DAS) | |
|---|---|---|
| Typical Cost | $5,000 - $35,000 | $100,000 - $1,000,000+ |
| Installation Time | Days to 2 weeks | 6 to 18 months |
| Carrier Approval | FCC certified, no approval needed | Required from each carrier |
| Ongoing Costs | None | Monthly maintenance fees, carrier licensing |
| Coverage | Up to 100,000+ sq ft | Unlimited (fully scalable) |
| Carrier Support | All carriers simultaneously | Multi-carrier capable, but each carrier must provide a dedicated signal source |
| Best For | Offices, warehouses, and commercial buildings up to 100,000 sq ft | Stadiums, ariports, convention centers, and buildings over 500,000 sq ft |

Common Questions About Commercial Projects
How much does a commercial signal booster system cost?
How much does a commercial signal booster system cost?
Most commercial systems cost between $5,000 and $35,000 depending on building size, construction materials, and how many antennas your layout requires. That includes the amplifier, antennas, cabling, and all components. Larger or multi-building projects can run higher. We provide custom quotes because every building is different. Request one above and we'll get you accurate pricing.
What happens after I submit the form?
What happens after I submit the form?
If you requested pricing, we'll email you a quote, usually within a few hours and always within 1 business day. If you requested a system design, an RF engineer will reach out for a brief 10-15 minute conversation about your space, then send you a detailed design and quote. Either way, the consultation is completely free.
Will I get bombarded with sales calls?
Will I get bombarded with sales calls?
No. For price quotes, we email you and that's it. For system designs, one engineer will reach out to understand your space. If you're not ready to move forward, that's the end of it. We don't have a follow-up sales team, and we never sell your information.
Is the consultation and system design really free?
Is the consultation and system design really free?
Yes. Our RF engineers assess your space, design the antenna layout, map coverage zones, and quote the complete system at no cost and no obligation. If we determine a signal booster isn't the right solution for your building, we'll tell you honestly. There's nothing to pay.
What if a signal booster won't work for my building?
What if a signal booster won't work for my building?
Two things protect you. First, our engineers evaluate your situation before you spend anything. If a booster won't solve your problem, we'll tell you upfront and recommend what will. Second, every system we sell comes with a money-back guarantee.
Do I need professional installation?
Do I need professional installation?
For commercial systems, we strongly recommend it. Proper antenna placement, cable routing, and signal optimization make the difference between a system that works and one that doesn't. We can coordinate professional installation for you, or provide technical guidance if you're working with your own installer or IT team.
