The Wilson High-Gain Omni Antenna | 310001 antenna is designed for permanent outdoor mounting and installs best on a rooftop, pole, or exterior wall. It includes a mounting bracket and U-bolts to secure it to a vertical or horizontal mast.

Because it’s omnidirectional, you don’t need to aim it at a specific tower. That makes setup easier and more forgiving than a directional antenna. Just try a few mounting spots around your building to find the strongest incoming signal, ideally on the side facing the nearest tower or with the clearest line of sight.

Installer Tips:

• Mount the antenna as high as possible and clear of obstructions
• Use low-loss coaxial cable to minimize signal loss over long runs
• Avoid coiling excess cable near the antenna or booster
• Make sure the antenna is vertically oriented as designed
• Keep cables and connections protected from weather exposure

This antenna uses an N-type female connector, which fits directly into many signal boosters or industrial routers. If your device uses a different connector (like SMA or FME), an adapter may be required.

While it’s built for outdoor use, some users have mounted it indoors in industrial or commercial settings where coverage is poor and outdoor access is limited. Just keep in mind that walls and structures can reduce its effectiveness.
