You Should Choose This Kit If

You need an all in one solution to provide boosted voice calls and 3G data for one phone or data device in a vehicle.  The SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit comes with a 12 in magnetic antenna that sticks to the roof of your vehicle and includes a cable that runs in through a door and attaches to the SIGNALBOOST Amplifier.  It is powered using a 12V adapter that plugs into a cigarette lighter or 12V power port. 

To use the SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit in a home or office, you'll need the SIGNALBOOST Home Accessory Kit which has an AC power adapter and window mount antenna bracket.

Will This Work For Me?

The SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit is our mid-level vehicle signal booster.  It includes the Cradle Plus and your phone or data device does need to stay in the cradle to receive the boosted signal so you'll have to use a bluetooth headset or speakerphone to make or receive calls. The SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit will only work with one phone at a time.

The SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit improves the signals used for both voice calls and Internet access. In areas with a weak signal, the SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit will reduce dropped calls, improve call clarity and increase Internet data speeds.

If you're frequently in areas where you get no service at all, a more powerful signal booster like our In-Vehicle Kit may be necessary.

• Alltel 2G/3G
• T-Mobile 2G only in most locations
• Major Canadian Carriers 2G/3G
• All other carriers using 800 MHz and 1900 MHz
• Will not boost 4G LTE for any carrier

Accessories

There are many accessories available for the SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit.  The most popular is the SIGNALBOOST Home Accessory Kit for using the system in a home or office (with optional Home Accessory Kit).  For additional cradle mounting options, check out our Cradle Mounts page.  To power the SIGNALBOOST Amplifier, you can use the included DC Power Adapter or the optional AC Power Adapter.

Installation Overview

Installing the SIGNALBOOST Cradle Kit is very easy and because nothing is permanent, it can be moved from one vehicle to another, or brought inside a home or office for use.

Mount the included antenna on the roof the the vehicle.  Route the attached coax cable in through a door opening.  To protect the cable, run it under the door seal. Connect the cable to the SIGNALBOOST Amplifier.  Plug the Cradle Plus into the Inside Antenna port on the amplifier.  Then just plug in the included 12V power supply and connect it to the SIGNALBOOST Amplifier.  When you place your phone in the cradle, you should see a stronger signal (it may take up to 30 seconds for your phone's signal strength display to update).  If you already have a strong outside signal, you won't see any benefit from the SIGNALBOOST so try it in a place where you typically have signal trouble.
