What is the difference between the weBoost Connect 4G-X and the Wilson Pro 70?
The weBoost Connect 4G-X (471104) and Wilson Pro 70 (465134) are both excellent signal booster kits and are two of our most popular units. While there are a number of similarities between the two, there are also a few differences, which we'll cover in this article.
Similarities Between the Connect 4G-X and the Pro 70
Both kits have the same strength of amplifier boosting power, and include the same outside yagi antenna, inside panel antenna, amplifier and the same cable lengths in the kit. Both units can handle the same number of simultaneous users as well.
Differences Between the Connect 4G-X and the Pro 70
There are a few major differences between the Connect 4G-X and the Pro 70 that compensate for the higher price of the Pro 70, including:
- The Wilson Pro 70 features an LCD display system for easy installation and troubleshooting. The weBoost Connect 4G-X does not have a display and uses indicator lights to signal issues instead.
- We highly recommend lightning surge protectors on all boosters and the Pro 70 comes bundled with a free lightning surge protector and 2’ jumper cable ($90 value). The Connect 4G-X has an option to purchase that separately for $89.95.
- The Wilson Pro 70 is designed and engineered with heat grading (Heat Sink) and has a metal frame that will make the system lasts years longer (potentially twice as long) as any consumer product.
- The Pro 70 comes with a 3-year warranty as part of our commercial line, whereas the Connect 4G-X has a 2-year warranty as part of our consumer line.
