The weBoost 470210 Drive 4G-X OTR Mobile Signal Booster Kit is the most powerful mobile signal booster for Semi Tractor Trailers allowed by the FCC. This means the weBoost Drive 4G-X OTR booster can give you a usable cell phone reception in locations where other mobile signal boosters have stopped working. The weBoost Drive 4G-X amplifier is paired with the new springless mirror mount 4G Trucker antenna to maximize the chances of receiving and boosting a signal in areas with very poor cell phone reception.
The weBoost Drive 4G-X OTR boosts the 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks for all of the major carriers in the United States and Canada, so you get fewer dropped calls, no delayed text messages and the fastest 4G download speeds possible. Unlike other signal boosters, the weBoost Drive 4G-X OTR communicates with your phone wirelessly and does not require your phone to sit in a cradle. Since it is wireless, the Drive 4G-X also supports multiple phones and data devices simultaneously.
The weBoost 470210 Drive 4G-X OTR's inside coverage area will depend on your existing outside signal strength. In areas where you have a moderate existing outside signal, the Drive 4G-X will fill a normal vehicle with boosted coverage. As the outside signal gets weaker, the inside coverage area will shrink, until you may have to keep your phone within about 18 inches from the inside antenna in order to take advantage of the boosted signal.
The weBoost 470210 Drive 4G-X OTR Signal Booster Kit supports the voice, 3G, and 4G LTE networks from all major carriers in the United States and Canada. For other locations, please consult the frequencies listed below to see if this product will work for you.
Here is a more detailed breakdown of the carriers, networks and frequencies boosted by this kit:
- AT&T 2G, 3G, 4G HSPA+ & 4G LTE
- Verizon 2G, 3G, 4G LTE & XLTE
- Sprint 2G, 3G & 4G LTE

- Inside Low-Profile Antenna
Installing the weBoost 470210 Drive 4G-X OTR Signal Booster kit is very easy and can usually be done in just a few minutes. Because nothing is permanent, the kit can be transferred to another vehicle as needed.
To start, mount the 4G Trucker Antenna to the mirror of the semi truck using the included 3-way mount. Run the 15' antenna cable into the cab through the door by threading the cable under the door weather stripping, and connect the cable to the amplifier's Outside Antenna port. To the inside connect the inside antenna cable that is attached to the slim low-profile inside antenna. Locate the inside antenna near where you'll typically be using the phone, for example, in the center console or on the side of the driver's seat. Ensure that the cables and amplifier won't be damaged if the seats are adjusted. Keep inside antenna at least 8 inches from any person and approximately 18 inches from where you typically use your phone. Connect the DC power adapter to the amplifier and plug in to immediately start receiving boosted signal.
